Naomi V.

Naomi’s musical journey started in grade school. She began composing and playing piano by ear in 3rd grade, before transitioning into formal lessons, primarily classical piano and voice. Her musical involvement was consistent throughout grade school, participating in regional bands and orchestras until graduation.
Naomi graduated Cum Laude from Ithaca College School of Music with a bachelors degree in music composition. Her passion for music was further enriched by her participation in a summer conducting and composition program at Bard College. Since 2007, she has been dedicated to nurturing young musical minds, sharing her knowledge of music through piano keyboard proficiency, and foundational music theory with grade school students and adults in classroom settings and one to one instruction. Beyond the classroom, Naomi has also performed on voice, piano, electric bass, and string bass, featuring vocal performances at Carngie Hall, and Ireland tour during her time in collge, and community band and orchestra after graduation
