If Hana G. were to ride into every concert as she would into battle, she would burst in on a T-rex in full battle armor, painted to look like a unicorn, ready to rock the pants off anyone here to listen. She aspires to bring that same enthusiasm in her teaching.
Hana’s performing career has taken her all over the globe, including Europe, China, the Philippines, and Canada. Her music dazzles audiences as she genre-hops from classical to fiddle to heavy metal. Hana studied Viola Performance with Dr. Claudine Bigelow at Brigham Young University with a Minor in Business and began her Masters studies with Nancy Buck at Arizona State University in 2020. As a teacher, Hana believes that the two most important jobs are to Educate and Motivate, where motivation and inspiration take equal priority with education. She attributes her teaching and conducting style to Mr. Rob Nichols, a talented musician, teacher and mentor. Hana is also a visual artist and enjoys mixing the visual experience with the bright and remarkable sound in her music. In her spare time, She likes to paint and play with her dogs and cat, who are always her favorite practice buddies.
