Tamara’s favorite earliest memories are Kindermusic classes and attending concerts with the St Paul Chamber Orchestra and the Minnesota Orchestra. She began taking piano lessons at age 11, adding organ in high school and flute in college. She graduated with a BA in Sacred Music (concentration Piano) from Maryland Baptist Bible College. She is proficient in old fashioned hymn style vocal accompaniment, as well as modern worship, CCM and classical stylings. She has taught students since 2004. She believes that the universal language of music is a gift to be shared with everyone. Her other passions include playing board games and building LEGO creations with her children, baking and cooking, reading and enjoying nature.
