Cayden S.

Cayden grew up around music from a very young age, with most of his immediate family playing instruments. He learned piano and guitar until he got to join band at school and stayed with every program as a percussionist/drummer till he graduated. He did youth symphonies, regional concert bands, jazz bands, and marching bands/winter drumlines all before graduating from Mesa High School in 2021. He traveled with Phenom Soundsport, Vision Percussion and also with Flux Indoor Percussion, being a part of Flux’s inaugural ensemble.

He currently studies Music Education at Mesa Community College under Chris Reidy and Robbie Carrillo in the percussion studio. He also helps coach the Front Ensemble and percussion section at Williams Field High School. He loves spending time with his family and friends and performing for people when he has the opportunity. Some other hobbies of his include camping, hiking, collecting vinyl records, and being a part time cook as well!
