Jaqui is a dramatic soprano who began her vocal studies as a mezzo-soprano. Jaqui received her Master’s degree in Vocal Performance from Northern Arizona University. She sang the title role in Puccini’s Suor Angelica with the NAU Lyric Theater. During her undergraduate studies at NAU, she performed mezzo-soprano roles such as Dinah in Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti. While studying at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, she performed in musical theater productions, singing the Sour Kangaroo in Seussical, Mama Noah in Children of Eden, Marmee in Little Women and Pitti-Sing in The Mikado.

Jaqui spent a year in Munich, Germany, studying the German language and performing throughout the city of Munich as a winner of the annual Hidalgo Festival.
