My 6yo son takes drum lessons and is learning so much! Their lab format is a great way of getting one-on-one instruction and getting some practice time in as well. We are so glad to have found this place!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My son has really enjoyed his first ever drum lessons with Zach and the accelerator lab. At first I was a bit skeptical until I attended the free intro lesson/meet and greet. It’s a great model where the students practice in the same room with headphones and get individualized attention every few minutes. They have the opportunity to ask questions or pass off a section they’re working on by signaling with a colored notecard. I feel like it keeps my son focused and it’s good having him see others in the lab who are just beginning or have a few years of experience.
The practice rooms are large and divided by the different instruments taught here. Overall the location is wonderful, there’s a lot of parking (next door to a MMA gym if you want to get a workout in while you wait) and the decor and furniture in the waiting area (that is if you don’t want to be in the practice room) are comfortable. Overall it gives off a very cozy, approachable, professional and down to earth vibe. I think the best part is there is a huge ‘hall of fame’ wall with the pictures of all of their students who’ve performed at recitals.
Zach as an instructor has been phenomenal. He is a tall, friendly looking guy that instills confidence when he teaches with each student as far as I’ve seen. I’m personally a guitarist, not a drummer (so I don’t know the best approach) but I appreciate that he focuses on technique and fundamentals but not to a fault, I can tell that he understands that at least for younger students they need to have fun or they can lose interest quickly and stop playing if it’s all just scales and theory.
On top of all of that, there’s a great app with attendance tracking, practice material, easy payment, and automated reminders (which are a life saver).
If you’re looking for kind and experienced instructors, an approachable learning environment, and a clean and professional studio: I’d highly recommend this place!

Two of my girls are also taking guitar lessons and really enjoy the approach to teaching that Musicians Made takes. Had our first recital yesterday, loved how casual and relaxed it was. These sessions, consisting of three to five students, focus on electric instruments such as electric guitar, piano, and drums. Within each lab, every student receives individualized instruction and training, allowing for a unique learning experience within a supportive & fun setting. Our dedicated instructors facilitate these sessions and allow students to move at their own pace independently. This environment provides personalized guidance and allows students to get all of their weekly practice done in the 55-minute session.
